The beaches of the Dominican Republic can be divided into 5 regions. Each region offers a unique set of beaches, attractions and charms.
East Coast - Popular beaches in this region include: Isla Catalina Isla Saona, Playa, Bavaro, Punta Cana, Playa Dominicus, Playa Minitas. Punta Cana is the more popular tourist destination in this region.

South West Coast - Playa Pedernales and San Rafael are the main beaches for this area.

beaches in the Dominican Republic.
